Tai chi, short for T'ai chi ch'üan, or Tai ji quan, is an internal Chinese martial art practiced for both its defense training and its health benefits. The term taiji refers to a philosophy of the forces of yin and yang, related to the moves.
You will develop strength, balance and help improve health and longevity through focused practice of traditional forms.
We include weapons forms in our Tai Chi training including sword form for balance and Cane form for functionality. Our program also includes empty hand forms for health.
The 30 trial days are there to introduce you to the Academy, our curriculum, our arts, our instructors, our community and our values.
Throughout these thirty days you will begin to understand the basics governing martial arts theory through the diversity and combination of programs that we offer at the Academy.
